2010 DC ADDY'S
launch sites
We were honored to concept and execute all the branding and design collateral for the 2010 DC ADDYs, the DC area’s awards for advertising excellence. This was an incredibly rare and exciting opportunity to show creative work to industry peers. Our team created a save-the-date, call for entries, winner’s book, multiple eblasts, and a full-blown website from scratch, www.dcaddys.com.
We also created an entirely new award called The PADDYs (short for the People’s ADDYs). Using Facebook Connect on the DC ADDYs website, users could vote for their favorite creative work submitted to the awards show. The work with the greatest number of votes received a PADDY. Because of the new award, companies started submitting creative work digitally for the first time in DC ADDYs history.
Because our work encouraged involvement, there was a huge response. There were 743 entries to the 2010 DC ADDYs from 90 different entrants including ad agencies, design companies, public relations firms, illustrators, photographers, printers, media outlets, and students.
