Forum on Law, Culture & Society

Fordham Law’s Forum on Law, Culture & Society is a public humanities program that explores the integration of matters of law into our culture and society. Unlike the Forum’s never-tiring director, Thane Rosenbaum, their materials lacked the energy and dynamic nature of the program. Their Film Festival and bi-annual Conversations that feature influential artists and leading public figures were not as prominent as they should have been.

We set out to create a cutting-edge new brand—starting with a new logo in the shape of a talk bubble to highlight the Forum’s focus on conversations. The flagship of this complete rebranding effort is a website that combines form and function with a fresh color palette, interesting navigation, a blog, and an extensive video and picture gallery. We also employed the power of SEO to drive traffic and promote the Forum and its events.

The result? The website received more first-time and returning visits than ever before. All events have sold out prior to the actual date, with waiting lists of over 900 people. And the new website was Communication Arts’ webpick of the day on February 2, 2010.
