Paramount Pictures needed a cool viral idea to help promote The Last Airbender. We gave it some thought and decided to create something that allowed kids to do what every kid dreams of: being a part of the movie. Our microsite let users upload their photo to “Become the Avatar.” They could then print it as a poster, Blu-ray, or DVD cover. A coupon for $5 off their purchase of the movie was also included after a user completed the process.
