The Waldorf Astoria needs no introduction. But what it did need was a brand refresh to position its Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts. These landmark destinations, and the iconic New York City hotel as well, needed to break free of a perception of being stuck in the past and presented as extraordinary contemporary expressions of place.
With this in mind, we developed “Extraordinary places. A singular experience” as a way to talk about all the properties in the Waldorf Astoria portfolio. In addition to a logo and website refresh, we updated their brand standards and provided ad and email templates as well. Property brochures were also created, with in-room collateral to go along with each. It all comes together to create a fresh expression of the essence of Waldorf Astoria as first in service. This service is what provides guests the personalized attention that is the source of unforgettable moments. And these moments add up to a singular experience. The kind that could only happen at a Waldorf Astoria. And now they have the branding that expresses it.
