Ron Thompson

As SVP, Executive Creative Director, Ron has more than 25 years’ experience in the advertising, branding, and design industries. He has built influential brands from scratch and has also guided successful brand refresh projects. Whether starting from inception or picking up at a crossroads, he has always created multi-platform ad campaigns that have emotional resonance and designed consumer interactions with a timeless aesthetic.

Ron’s approach invites participation from everyone on the team. A natural-born team-builder, he fully embraces the collaborative nature of advertising, design, and new media and believes a good idea can come from anyone in the agency. He has extensive experience in video and broadcast production and has produced and directed a multitude of still photo shoots.

Ron began his career at Doner working on clients including Ford Motor Company, Arby’s, Tasco Optics, and Hostess before joining Siquis, a boutique agency focused on advertising, design, and branding. There he created acclaimed work for Little Me childrenswear, Cole Haan, Gorilla Glue, Woolrich and Filson outdoorwear, Cigna Health, Streamlight Flashlights, Gerber Knives & Tools, and Simpson Racing equipment.

Educated at the University of Maryland, Ron’s work has been recognized by The One Show, London International, The Clio Awards, Communication Arts, PRINT, and both Local and Regional Addy Awards.
