Job Seekers Should Be Aware of Fraudulent Offers on Employment Sites

Online scammers are known to target job seekers by posing as hiring companies through email, text and/or social media. The U.S. federal government has posted an educational website where job seekers can learn how to spot this type of fraud, protect themselves and report suspicious activity. To see it, click here.

HZ will never ask potential candidates for sensitive financial information during the recruitment process, and open positions within HZ will be posted on our Careers web portal. A job opening described in an email or website that does not also appear on our Careers portal is likely not  legitimate.

Please also be aware that HZ will never ask prospective employees for direct payment for anything. Candidates should not send payments at any time to HZ or to a recruiter as part of the hiring process. (Note: HZ does utilize third-party recruiting services at times.) If you suspect that you have been contacted by someone falsely representing HZ, please email us at hr@hzdg.com.
