Rockville Firm Picked to Market Maryland to New Business

"Rockville-based marketing firm HZDG will create a campaign to attract businesses to Maryland.

The firm was selected from a pool of 27 that responded to a request for proposals in June from the Maryland Marketing Partnership, created by the General Assembly in 2015 to boost the state's economy with new jobs and companies.

Gov. Larry Hogan identified the members of the organization’s board earlier this year and included $1 million in his 2017 budget to fund the effort.

HZDG will develop a brand and strategy to show that Maryland is “well-equipped to be a leading state for innovation and entrepreneurship,” said Alix Jurick, business development manager at HZDG. She said the campaign is expected to leverage success stories..."
